A Strong Relationship with Your Customers Equal More Sales

It’s more challenging to acquire a new customer than it is to get a sale from an existing customer.

Your existing customers will continue to buy from you if you’ve fostered a solid relationship with them and provide solutions to their pain. Therefore, creating a strong relationship with your existing customers is critical to the longevity of your business.

There are thousands of entrepreneurs out there who can create a strong relationship with your prospects. You must do things differently to stand out and be unique in your industry.

If done correctly, your customers will buy from you over and over again.

One of the best ways to stand out is to create exclusivity with your customers. When you create exclusivity with your customers, they will feel special and know you are going out of your way to create content just for them.

You create exclusivity by emailing them with content not posted on social media. Content that they can get only by being on your list.

When you create exclusivity in your marketing, your customers know and feel that the content they receive is designed just for them and delivered directly to them, not the entire world. That makes them feel exceptional, and as a result, it helps strengthen the relationship between you and your customers.

Here are a few ways in which you can create exclusivity and foster a strong relationship:

  • Create content specific to their needs and send that content directly to them via email.
  • Create content from your customers’ questions and send the answers to them via email.
  • Highlight and feature individual customers who ask in your email marketing, and send that content to your entire database.
  • Create a video podcast show and only make the content accessible to your list of customers and potential customers.

The idea is to create content one else on the internet has access to and share it with your customers and potential customers only.

I have gone as far as taking all my content off social media and only making that content available to my subscribers and private community members. That is a very drastic move, especially when everyone is teaching you to post as much as possible on social media.

Your customers and potential customers are the lifeblood of your business, so treating them like gold is the most important thing you can do to let them know they are that special to you. Again, email marketing allows you to create that exclusivity with them.
