Use Social Media To Build Your List
When you publish content such as pictures, videos, and text, knowing the intention behind your post is extremely important.
Why are you posting on social media?
Are you posting to entertain or inspire?
Are you posting the content to educate?
Is it a combination of the two?
Regardless of your reason for posting, after each piece of content you publish, there should always be a Call To Action for your followers. Send them to your capture page with an irritable offer in return for their name or email.
Your time is precious, so why create and publish on social media with no solid intention? Create social media content that builds your lists.

A Strong Relationship with Your Customers Equal More Sales
It’s more challenging to acquire a new customer than it is to get a sale from an existing customer.
Your existing customers will continue to buy from you if you’ve fostered a solid relationship with them and provide solutions to their pain. Therefore, creating a strong relationship with your existing customers is critical to the longevity of your business.
There are thousands of entrepreneurs out there who can create a strong relationship with your prospects. You must do things differently to stand out and be unique in your industry.
If done correctly, your customers will buy from you over and over again.
One of the best ways to stand out is to create exclusivity with your customers. When you create exclusivity with your customers, they will feel special and know you are going out of your way to create content just for them.
You create exclusivity by emailing them with content not posted on social media. Content that they can get only by being on your list.
When you create exclusivity in your marketing, your customers know and feel that the content they receive is designed just for them and delivered directly to them, not the entire world. That makes them feel exceptional, and as a result, it helps strengthen the relationship between you and your customers.
Here are a few ways in which you can create exclusivity and foster a strong relationship:
- Create content specific to their needs and send that content directly to them via email.
- Create content from your customers’ questions and send the answers to them via email.
- Highlight and feature individual customers who ask in your email marketing, and send that content to your entire database.
- Create a video podcast show and only make the content accessible to your list of customers and potential customers.
The idea is to create content one else on the internet has access to and share it with your customers and potential customers only.
I have gone as far as taking all my content off social media and only making that content available to my subscribers and private community members. That is a very drastic move, especially when everyone is teaching you to post as much as possible on social media.
Your customers and potential customers are the lifeblood of your business, so treating them like gold is the most important thing you can do to let them know they are that special to you. Again, email marketing allows you to create that exclusivity with them.

Your Autoresponder Is The Best Way To Create Automated Sales In Your Business.
If you have no idea what an autoresponder is or how to use it, don’t worry, I will explain.
Your Autoresponder helps you communicate via email, with all of your customers at once.
You can set up pre-written email campaigns and send them out with links to your products and services to your customers.
Connecting with your customers via email is one of the most essential activities you should perform in your business.
If your customers consistently open your emails, you have hit the holy grail of marketing. However, getting your emails opened only happens when you provide solutions.
The Hidden Gem Of Online Marketing
Here is why emailing your customers is the hidden gem of online marketing.
- Your customers view their email accounts as a private piece of internet real estate they control.
- Your customer database is the most crucial asset inside your business.
- Most repeat sales are made via email communication, not social media.
With your autoresponder, you make sales in your sleep.
3. Create repeated Sales By Creating Stronger Relationships With Your Existing Customers
by Follow Up Tech | Autoresponders
When I ask business owners how they build their lists, they often look at me as if I speak a foreign language. After explaining to them that their list of buyers is the most crucial asset inside their business and that list building is where they should spend the most time, it all makes sense to them.
Suppose you are not bringing your followers from YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms into your AutoResponder system. In that case, you are making a huge mistake.
No matter what business model you follow, your focus must always be to build a list of raving customers and create a healthy relationship with them.
Create a strong relationship with your list before selling a product.
Back To The Idaho Coffee Shop
Remember the coffee shop in Idaho from my previous post?
Although the shop had a friendly atmosphere with loyal customers, the establishment was leaving thousands of dollars on the table.
The attendant never asked me for my name and email or a way to follow up. That huge error could mean a loss of thousands in back-end income.
The Big Brands Do It And So Should You
Think about it: big brands Nike and Walmart spend millions of dollars in marketing each month to acquire your name and email so they can market and sell you their products and services.
There is a reason why Walmart and Target ask you for your name and email at the checkout: it brings in significant income after the initial sale. They know your information is the lifeblood of their business.
Every time someone buys your product or uses your service, they should become part of your database so you can create a relationship with them.
I will share more on effectively creating and fostering a lasting relationship with your list later.
Get Them Inside Your Autoresponder
Here are a few ways to get existing and new customers inside your Autoresponder and build your list.
- Ask every one of your customers to join your list for future promotions and discounts.
- Create a QR code with a link to your opt-in page. Offer them something on that opt-in page for their name and email.
- When they make a purchase, as you’re ringing them up, ask for their name and email and have them input it into your Autoresponder.
- Create and publish content on social media that encourages your prospects to visit your opt-in page for a special offer in return for their name and email.
There are thousands of ways to get your customers on your list.
What is most important is learning your customer’s profile once they have joined your list. Knowing their profile will play a huge role in knowing how to serve them, and it will alternately tell you what types of additional products and services you can offer your customers.
They Dropped The Ball
If the coffee shop in Idaho had known I was new to the area, they could have sent me information on some of their local events, which would have been very helpful to me. Would I have shown my appreciation by revisiting their location? Heck yeah!!
I noticed they host a local open mic once a week. That was an excellent opportunity for me to revisit the establishment, meet some of the locals, and introduce myself to the owner and the people responsible for running the establishment. Unfortunately, they never got a chance to market that event to me.
Let’s say they produced their own branded coffee; that would have allowed me to buy several bags of coffee to share with my friends and other coffee-drinking family.
Sadly, I never revisited the establishment and attended the open mic—an Opportunity lost.
Be The Solution Finder
As an entrepreneur, the more solutions you can provide your customers, the more money you will earn.
You might sell coffee, like the local coffee shop in Idaho, but as someone new to the area, you could follow up with me and offer me many other products or services that create additional income.
We will discuss the other products and services you could offer me later.
You must know as much about your existing and potential customers as possible. The more you know about them, the more solutions you can provide them. Ultimately, you will earn more.
Know Them Like You Know Yourself
Here is an excellent strategy to learn more about your prospects and customers after you get them on your list.
- When you make a sale, ask them why they bought your product.
- If you can meet them in person, ask them why they follow or listen to you.
- If they ask you a question, answer their question, then follow up your answer with a question about the product or service they receive from you.
- Ask them what their greatest struggles are. The more you know about them, the more solutions you can provide them.
The most important thing to remember is that once they’ve joined your list, they become the most critical asset in your business. Treat them as such, and your business will flourish beyond your imagination.
Note: It doesn’t matter what line of business you are in. You should always be in the mindset of growing your list. It is the absolute most crucial asset inside your company.
If you ever decide to sell your business, a responsive list of customers and potential buyers will be the most critical asset to the buyer.
2. Get More repeat Sales With An Autoresponder
by Follow Up Tech | Autoresponders
As I write this post, I sit in a local coffee shop in Idaho. It is my first time in this town. Since I’ve been here, I have noticed something fascinating as a marketer.
First, there is a constant traffic flow of people walking into the coffee shop. The attendant behind the counter knows everyone by name or by face. Several other coffee spots are nearby; however, their existing customers frequently visit this shop.
The coffee is good, but I have had better. Even though it’s my first time here, I feel very comfortable here.
Nevertheless, the attendant should have done something that could add hundreds or even thousands of dollars to the establishment’s sales.
The Money Is In The Follow-Up
When you don’t follow up with your customers, you leave significant money on the table.
Properly following up with your existing and potential customers, means creating and fostering a solid relationship with them. At the same time, you have a chance to hold their attention. Following up does not mean sending them your next promotion or sale.
Your business should always be at the forefront of your customers’ minds. The problem is, with so much competition out there, how do you keep your customer’s attention?
The purpose of Follow-up Tech is to help you properly create and foster a solid relationship with your customers so you can make more money. If you follow the information you learn here, your customers will become raving fans and buy everything you offer. Let’s get started.

With the enormous amount of online and offline competition begging for their attention, it’s becoming more challenging for you to make sales.
Even with a social media presence, it can still be a challenge. That is why it is essential to apply an email marketing strategy.
Make Recurring Sales
Most recurring sales happen because a relationship established after the first sale. Your objective is to get your customers to buy from you repeatedly; marketing to them via email makes those recurring sales happen.
Sadly, most business owners do not have an email marketing strategy and as a result they are leaving a huge amount of money on the table.
